Land and Sea, a CBC Newfoundland production will feature a story on L'Anse Amour on Monday, April 23. The story will air 7:00pm NL time, 6:30pm Labrador time. For information on show or to view the episode at a later time visit, http://www.cbc.ca/landandseanl/

L'Anse Amour is now one of the smallest communities in the area but it has had a busy history. And certainly is worth a visit.

On Monday, February 19th,2007 CBC's Land & Sea will be airing "Wolf Dogs." The show was filmed in March 2006 depicting the Labrador Husky and the importance of the dog team in Labrador's history. Tune in at 6:30 Labrador time to view this important piece of Labrador history and information on efforts to keep the breed and the culture alive.

My husband and I travelled to Labrador in late June/early July driving from Baie Comeau to Goose-Bay and then taking the ferry to Cartwright before carrying on down the coast.What a wonderful experience we had!We can't say enough good things about the people who helped us with everything from accommodation to laundromats...and even make shift car washes!We travelled in a VW van and as we had no bathroom facilities we sometimes found ourselves in "awkward" situations.Without exception when we...
