The ferry that operates in the Strait of Belle Isle between St. Barbe. NL and Blanc Sablon, PQ made her first trip on April 13! Not scheduled to begin operations until May 1, the MV Apollo is a welcome sight to the region. The area has been isolated since last trip of the Apollo in January. Grocery, goods and mail which have been delivered by plane all winter can now move easier and more frequently. Because this is also around the time most students are finishing terms at school, they are grateful to be able to drive home.
